High-end glassware deserves high-end results.
Polish-free glasswashing is achieved with a combination of highly purified water and specially formulated consumables, designed to leave no spots, sediment or residue on glassware, achieving spotless results with no hand polishing required. Rinse water is filtered using reverse osmosis, a process commonly used for drinking water purification and desalination, to aggressively filter foreign particles from the water as it enters the dishwasher.
Until now, many polish-free glasswashing systems have been relatively expensive and/or had their productivity constrained by slow filtration. Washtech's cost-effective and highly productive polish-free solutions make this relatively new innovation in glasswashing more accessible and practical for a wider variety of operators.
Reduced labour and hazards. Improved hygiene and longevity.
The elimination of hand polishing and addition of automated drying significantly reduces manual labour requirements. Less manual handling reduces health and safety risks posed by broken glassware and improves general hygiene by reducing the number of human touch points.
All polish-free compatible dishwasher models use SoftStart, which gradually pressurises the wash system to reduce strain on glassware and prevent breakage. The use of purified water and specially formulated consumables extends the useful life of glassware, with the elimination of foreign particles decreasing the risk of scratches and abrasions. Operating a dishwasher on purified water can also reduce maintenance and extend the useful life of the dishwasher, particularly in regions with substandard water quality.
A complete system solution.
Washtech polish-free systems offer the complete end-to-end polish-free glasswashing solution that's right for your venue. All M-Type and A-Type dishwasher models are polish-free glasswashing compatible, offering a broad range of features and capacity. Washtech offers two different reverse osmosis filtration units, with ROC being optimised for maximum capacity, while ROS is a robust, lower maintenance option for quieter venues.
To ensure a flawless, polished look every time, specially formulated detergent and rinse fluid optimises wash and dry results for glassware. Polish-free system accessories, such as divided glass racks and drying tables, enable handsfree drying that maintains the polished look and reduces the risk of scratches or breakage. Depending on the combination of dishwasher, RO unit and accessories, maximum polish-free capacity can reach as high as 60 racks per hour, with most systems capable of at least 10,000 cycles between services.
